Trees, Terrain, & Trails: An Eco-Stroll through Stone Oak. Join us for a guided stroll through the rugged beauty of the Stone Oak Park North Loop. Discover a 245-acre wilderness remnant perched on the southern edge of the Edwards Plateau — a hidden naturescape within the busy suburban landscape. Learn about the native trees and plant communities along the trail which create a thriving ecosystem.  You’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for the benefits our trees provide and practical tips on how you can be a “friend to the forest.”
